The Shooters Gate mosin nagant tri-rail is a great way to enhance your 91/30 rifle without the need for gunsmithing. The mount attaches to the rifle by replacing the standard rear sight on the mosin nagant (if you do not have a standard rear sight gunsmithing may be needed to install the rail mount). Machined from high quality aircraft grade aluminum, the top rail has 17 slots while the 2 removable side rails have 12 slots each, all rails are weaver / picatinny spec. This mount fits many Mosin Nagant Variants like the Russian, Hungarian, Chinese models including the 38, 44, M28, 53, M27, M28 91, 91/30, 91/38, 91/59 models. This Mount is not compatible with some Mosin Nagant variants with either smaller or proprietary rear sight bases, e.g. Westinghouse, Remington and Polish Mosin Nagant M44. Will not work on Finnish M39 and early 91 Models without modification.
