The Shooters Gate Remington 870 12GA Scope Mount Saddle is an excellent way to mount your scope or optic sight for your shotgun if you do not need the extra side rail. The entire mount is machined from a single piece of high quality aluminum alloy and is also designed with a slotted side wall to reduce the mount's weight. The top rail has 14 slots and is machined to weaver/picatinny spec. Designed to replace the existing screws on the 870 the mount comes with the needed hardware to install ( PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW). No gunsmithing needed, just replace the 2 screws with the mount and supplied hardware.

NOTE: Please check bolt size before purchasing to avoid fitting issues: 

 

Front bolt size Ø: 5mm /  3/16 of an inch or 0.1875 inch

 Rear bolt size Ø: 6.5mm / 1/4  of an inch or 0.25 inch 

The bolts on your remington must be the same thickness or larger to allow the mount to properly be installed.
