The Shooters Gate Remington 870 12GA Scope Mount Saddle with Side Rail is an excellent way to mount your scope or optic sight for your shotgun while also giving you an extra side rail for a shell holder, flashlight or any other railed accessory you would want to use on your shotgun. The entire mount is machined from a single piece of high quality aluminum alloy and is designed with a slotted side wall to reduce the mount's weight. The top rail is a 14 slot and the side rail is 9 slot, both are machined to weaver/picatinny spec. Designed to replace the existing screws on the 870 the mount comes with the needed hardware to install ( PLEASE SEE NOTE BELOW). No gunsmithing needed, just replace the 2 screws with the mount and supplied hardware.

NOTE: Please check bolt size before purchasing to avoid fitting issues:_
Front bolt size _: 5mm /_ 3/16 of an inch or 0.1875 inch
_Rear bolt size _: 6.5mm / 1/4_ of an inch or 0.25 inch_
The bolts on your remington must be the same thickness or larger to allow the mount to properly be installed.
